HKABAEIMA Celebrates 5 years of openBIM

SBI is honored to co-present with EMSD in sharing the implementation of openBIM standards (bSDD and IDS) for handover requirements management and information quality control at the 5th Anniversary of buildingSMART Hong Kong, China event event celebrating 5 years of openBIM; a journey with trailblazers from government agencies such as EMSD (Electrical and Mechanical Services Department), research institutes such as HKUST (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology), and private industry professionals such as contractor Hip Hing. Each of these trailblazers, including our project with EMSD, presented their winning projects from the buildingSMART International openBIM 2024 Awards, and shared their research and experiences from exploring and implementing open standards on their projects and work. SBI's Joy Li presented the way forward for openBIM with the importance of training courses.
